'Saddest' cat is finally living the good life

The first time I saw Bruce was when the shelter that he was at uploaded a video and the photo of him to their social media accounts. The video was cute, but it wasn’t until I saw the photo of him that my heart just sank. He looked so sad. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sadder cat before. I couldn’t let him go. Even though I wasn’t looking for a cat at the time. And I also went to [the shelter] to visit him several times and he looked even sadder in real life. He also got really sick at the shelter. My lease didn’t allow pets, but when he had been there for almost a month, I asked my landlord if they can make an exception. And luckily they said they could. So then I brought him home the next day and he was so happy.

Like from the moment he got out of the carrier, it was like, he couldn’t believe it. And ever since that day, he has just been such a happy cat. Even though he might have a resting sad face. He does look a little bit sad sometimes, but I can assure you that he’s a super happy cat. He just loves to eat treats. Loves to play and loves to snuggle.
