Shocking footage shows the moment a firefighter helicopter crashed after flying too close to a building in Brazil.

The rescue helicopter can be seen hitting the building with its blades, before crashing into an empty car in the parking lot of Mauá University, just outside the capital Brasília.

According to local media, one of the five people on board suffered significant injuries.

The helicopter was reportedly responding to an emergency call involving the victim of a cardiac arrest.
