Software Engineer interview - How I got tricked?! Storytime

Software Engineer interview - How I got tricked?! StorytimeУ вашего броузера проблема в совместимости с HTML5

A few years ago I was on a Software Engineer interview, and I was very good at all programming questions, but then I got tricked and I gave a wrong answer to a question that is often used to test your problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
The question that I was asked is known as the Monty Hall problem.
The Monty Hall problem is a brain teaser in the form of a probability puzzle.

It is a tricky counter-intuitive paradox that most people don’t understand at first. That’s why I decided to explain the Monty Hall problem and also to make a C++ program that will run 1 MILLION simulations in order to prove the Monty Hall problem.

Let me know in the comments - were you familiar with this paradox and how would you answer the Monty Hall question if asked?
