A Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle launched the CAS500-1 satellite, along with 37 SmallSats and CubeSats, from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, on 22 March 2021, at 06:07 UTC (11:07 local time). Compact Advanced Satellite 500-1 (CAS500-1, 차세대중형위성 1호) is an Earth observation satellite developed by Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI), Republic of Korea.
