A frog can escape from such a fate only by cleaning the fly’s eggs off itself, but they sit very tightly and firmly. I think that only molting at the right moment can save a frog, but they eat their molting skin. I don’t know if the eggs and larvae will digest in the frog’s stomach, or if they will start eating it right from there.
Creepy. I try to help such infected frogs when I see them. It’s better to clean the eggs with a stick, not with your hands, like me.
