State of Palestine: Israel strikes targets in Gaza in retaliation for incendiary balloons

The Israeli army said its planes struck several targets in the Gaza Strip late on Monday in retaliation to incendiary balloons launched from the Palestinian territory.

They included a Hamas rocket making workshop and a compound belonging to the group in Khan Younis, according to the military.

The balloons had been reportedly launched by pro-Hamas activists in support of six Palestinians who escaped from an Israeli jail.
