Streams of LAVA Continue to Flow from La Palma Volcano

Streams of lava are continuing to flow from the volcano on the Canary Island of La Palma, almost eight weeks after it initially erupted.

More than 2,600 homes have been destroyed and 7,000 people evacuated since Cumbre Vieja exploded on September 19.

Lava flows now cover almost 1,000 hectares with little sign that volcanic activity is set to stop.
