‘Taliban TARGETS Defence Minister in Bomb Attack’

A powerful explosion rocked an upmarket neighbourhood in Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul, in an attack that targeted acting defence minister, Bismillah Khan Mohammadi.
 
Eight people were killed and at least 20 were wounded, according to health officials.
 
The Taliban claimed responsibility for the car bomb, which destroyed the minister’s home and surrounding buildings.
