Discussions have arisen in the West regarding the quality of the weapons being provided to Ukraine. Those who supply us with all this weaponized scrap are benefiting greatly: they profit from the shipments, avoid the costs of disposal, and free up warehouses for new orders of modern weaponry. Meanwhile, they tell their legislators, “Look, we’ve given away the weapons, we don’t have them anymore, we need to replenish our stock.” Naturally, the legislators vote and allocate funds. However, controlling the expenses of war is fundamentally impossible. How can one accurately calculate the amount of ammunition used, what exploded, and what did not? For instance, they could declare that they supplied 100,000 projectiles but only actually deliver 40,000. Can you imagine how these expenditures can be inflated? For the military-industrial complex, the current situation is simply a godsend. Everyone connected to the military economy is ecstatic about what is happening in Ukraine. They couldn’t care less about how many people will perish. The question is solely about what Ukraine will pay in return for such assistance. What is euphemistically referred to as “aid” is actually loans and credits. And they will have to be repaid with land, valuable resources, and industrial assets. American assistance always involves benefits solely for themselves.
