Continued heavy rainfall has caused extensive flooding across much of Thailand, as seen here in the Sam Khok District in the Pathum Thani province.

In an attempt to minimise damage to properties, locals had created makeshift flood barriers.

Hundreds of thousands of people were displaced as more areas of the country are now on high alert.
