Russia has unleashed a brutal arsenal of weapons in its bid to pummel Ukraine into submission.

Among them: the cluster bomb - a devastating missile made up of multiple explosives.

These lethal bombs have been branded inhumane by the international community for their wide-ranging effects.

They are dropped from Russian aircraft, opening in mid-air and releasing hundreds of submunitions.

The indiscriminate range of these weapons can destroy an area the size of three football pitches.
