The moment an employee at a Russian state-controlled news channel protested the war with Ukraine on live TV has been caught on camera.

Her sign reads: “No war, stop the war, don’t believe the propaganda, they are lying to you here.”

Marina Ovsyannikova, an editor at Channel 1, is thought to now be in police custody.
