Jasper has got to be one of the most extraordinary cats ever born. He was adopted at 2 years old, seemingly healthy. After a couple of years. he was diagnosed with feline herpes virus.

In 2013, his right eye was removed due to a corneal ulcer. And in 2018, his left eye was removed, also due to a corneal ulcer. Although totally blind, this happy kitty adapted very well. He particularly enjoyed getting his sockets scratched.

Sadly, his remarkable life came to an end in November of 2020. His mom said on his passing: After being the toughest fighter I’ve ever met, he ran out of fight. He held on long enough for me to make it to say goodbye, and I’ll forever be grateful for that. She said she wants to remember him as goofy, full of love and full of life.
