This man feeds 3,000 wild parrots a day

This man from a city in southern India has dedicated himself to feeding thousands of parrots.

He says he grew up with nature around him and likes to see people being kind to animals. He describes how it all started.

As his idea started to take off and the word spread among the parrots about their hero, a large number of them started flocking to him and he expanded his operation.

While he routinely feeds thousands of birds, he recalls the time when there was a huge spike.

Despite his limited means, he tries to give them the best possible food .
