Thousands gather in Minsk as demonstrations continue to sweep across Belarus.

Crowds occupied the city’s central square to oppose the landslide election victory of President Alexander Lukashenko.

Belarus has been in turmoil for a fortnight ago and several countries around the world including the UK, Canada and the EU have refused to accept the result.
