Thousands of Honduran migrants hoping to reach the US have been stopped in Guatemala.

A caravan of around 2,000 Honduran migrants walked into Guatemala earlier this week.

Guatemala’s president saw them as a contagion risk and vowed to deport them.

Police and soldiers set up roadblocks to split the large group up into smaller numbers.
