On 7 January 2022, at 23:55 UTC (8 January, at 07:55 China Standard Time), the astronauts of the Shenzhou-13 mission (神舟十三) docked the Tianzhou-2 (天舟二号) cargo spacecraft to the Tianhe core module, successfully completing the first manual rendezvous and docking of a cargo spacecraft to the China Space Station. The Tianhe core module (天和核心舱) is the first and main component of the China Space Station (中国空间站), informally known as Tiangong (天宫, Heavenly Palace).
