Dozens of Trump supporters have camped outside the 19,000-seat Bok Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, days ahead of his first campaign rally during the coronavirus pandemic.

The controversial choice of location and the significant date has raised tensions in the city.

The venue is less than a mile away from Greenwood district where black-owned businesses were burned in a massacre almost 100 years ago.

Attendees are required to sign a waiver before entering the rally agreeing not to take legal action in the future if they contract the deadly virus.

Trump’s team have said people “understand the risks”.
