Famous journalist Sedaf Kabas was arrested by Turkish authorities in Istanbul, as seen on Saturday, as part of an investigation for insulting President Recep Erdogan on her television show.
Kebas was arrested after a court has ordered the anchorwoman and publicist to be taken in custody during a pending trial on charges of insulting the Turkish president, which is a crime punishable by a maximum sentence of four years in prison, according to the local penal code.
