A Philadelphia native is taking the football world by storm with his impressive size and defensive talents.
Nyeem Powell who recently turned 12 years old went viral on social media for his incredible defensive abilities, tackling running backs, overpowering opposing teams and his agility on the field.
The 340-pound Nyeem towers over fellow teammates and often has spectators asking for his birth certificate before games.
His Coach, Nate Reed said, “he’s a kid that’s worked real hard. He came out 4 years ago when he was 8 years old. He’d never played football. He came out, and he wanted to play.”
Nyeem started playing football four years ago and has proven to have a natural talent in the sport.
As for his future, Nyeem said, “I’m going to continue playing football and go to the NFL and stuff; good colleges, high school. You name it.”
