‘Typhoon In-Fa LASHES Eastern China Just Days After Deadly Floods’

A major typhoon has hit east China just days after some of the worst floods in its history.

The typhoon is battering the country’s east coast with heavy rain, strong winds and floods.

Typhoon In-Fa made second landfall in the coastal area of Pinghu on Monday morning.

Flood control and evacuation efforts began on Sunday with 18 airports in Shanghai, Zhejiang…

…and Jiangsu closed, and more than 1.5 million people transferred to safety.

This comes after the typhoon left Taiwan in its wake, moving at a speed of 150kph.

It caused widespread harm, bringing down trees, and damaging houses and vehicles.

The typhoon comes just days after devastating floods in Central China killed at least 56.

In-Fa, which is expected to affect around 25 million people, is likely to last until midweek.
