The strongest typhoon of 2020 made landfall in South Korea on September 3.
 
Typhoon Maysak brought heavy downpours to Japan before heading to the Korean peninsula.
 
Local authorities reported at least one person was killed and another was injured in South Korea.
 
Over 2000 people were evacuated as the typhoon barrelled towards the peninsula.
 
Violent storms caused widespread damage, downing trees and triggering flooding.
 
A vessel carrying 43 crew members was reported missing off the Japanese coast.
 
Typhoon Maysak also made the news in North Korea, although no casualties were declared.
 
One reporter for state television channel KRT near lost his umbrella in strong winds.
