UK: One dead, one injured in Liverpool hospital blast - police

One person died, and another was injured after a car exploded outside Liverpool Women’s Hospital on Sunday.

A taxi carrying a man arrived outside the hospital and exploded shortly after, at around 11:00 GMT (local time; 10:00 CET). The passenger, who died at the scene, still needs to be identified.

Following police raids, three men in their 20s have been arrested under the Terrorism Act, but the investigation around the explosion is still ongoing.
