‘Unstoppable’ Robot Dogs Join US Air Force

The US Air Force is testing ‘robot dogs’, or ‘Vision 60 UGVs’ as their manufacturer Ghost Robotics calls them, to help defend its bases.

The electronic canines are part of the US military’s ‘Advanced Battle Management System’, which uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data analysis to detect and counter threats.

According to Ghost Robotics, the robot dogs are able to complete a wide range of missions in any terrain or environment, while carrying sensor and radio equipment.
The company also claims that the devices are “unstoppable”.
