‘US Investigation Finds China’s Balloon Part of International SPY Program’

The Biden Administration says a Chinese balloon is part of a wider aerial spy program targeting more than 40 countries.

A US fighter jet shot down the balloon over the Carolina coast after it spent days, “violating US sovereignty and international law” in US airspace.

Authorities have found the airship was operating surveillance technology capable of intercepting US communications and collecting other sensitive information.
