‘US Navy Fires Warning Shots After ANOTHER Tense Encounter with Iranian Boats’

Another tense encounter played out between the US Navy and Iranian vessels on Monday.

A US Coast Guard ship fired warning shots at Iranian fast boats which came dangerously close.

13 armed speedboats from Iran’s Revolutionary Guard made “unsafe” high-speed manoeuvres towards US Navy vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, prompting a stern response.

Six US ships were escorting the guided missile submarine USS Georgia when it happened.

It was the second time in two weeks that a US ship opened fire to warn off Iranian vessels.

The confrontation comes as Iran negotiates with world powers in Vienna, aimed at reviving the 2015 Iran Nuclear deal, which the US left in 2018.
