US Sec of State Blinken and German FM Baerbock hold joint briefing after meeting on Ukraine crisis

On Thursday, January 20, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock hold a joint briefing after the quadrilateral meeting with their counterparts, the UK Deputy Foreign Minister James Cleverly and France Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian.
The meeting focused on the ongoing tensions around Ukraine’s eastern border with Russia.
The meeting comes after Baerbok’s recent visit to Moscow and Kiev, as well as Blinken’s trip to Brussels and Kiev.
Blinken is expected to meet with his Russian Counterpart Lavrov in Geneva on Friday, January 21.
