Traffic reopened on Detroit’s Ambassador Bridge on Tuesday after truckers blocked the bridge in a rally against COVID-19 vaccine mandates and in solidarity with the so-called ‘freedom convoy.’ The Ambassador Bridge is notoriously busy, linking Windsor, Ontario, and Detroit. Michigan officials tweeted that Canadian-bound traffic was still blocked on Tuesday morning while US-bound traffic was partially flowing. ‘Freedom convoy’ protests have been blocking streets in Ottawa, causing traffic disruptions for several days.
