At least 10,000 steel panels, according to media reports, were left to rust in the sun in Pharr, Texas, after US President Joe Biden cancelled contracts on border wall construction back in January - the Mexico–United States barrier promoted by former president Donald Trump.
Drone footage shows construction material, reportedly worth $100 million (€87 million) abandoned.
By the time Trump left office only several kilometres of the wall had been built.
