USA: FBI raids DC home linked to Russian industrialist Oleg Deripaska

The agents, seen entering and leaving the home, were conducting “court-authorized law enforcement activity” according to an FBI spokesperson.
A spokesperson by Deripaska’s representative Larisa Belyaeva confirmed the FBI searches in houses in New York and DC, saying they were owned by relatives of the industrialist.
Deripaska, founder of Rusal and of Basic Element, one of Russia’s largest industrial groups, has been investigated for several possible crimes and was among the Russian individuals targeted by US government sanctions.
