USA: Giorgio Moroder's original Cizeta V16T up for auction with NFT, original songs included

The 1988 Cizeta-Moroder V16T prototype was seen up for sale at Sotheby’s auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Wednesday. The vehicle was on offer with an NFT file included, as well as four original songs.
Attendees could be seen taking pictures of Moroder’s offering, which played aptly-chosen disco music over its speakers.
“This actually was the original design that [Cizeta] intended to become the Lamborghini Diablo,” said a member of staff working at the auction.
The worker went on to explain that although it can be difficult to estimate the value of a concept piece, the car is expected to fetch 900,000 to 1.2 million dollars (800,000 to 1.07 million euros).

So he’s finally decided to sell the car in conjunction with an NFT which can be seen on the screen back there, which Giorgio has created.

SOT, Staff member at Sotheby’s auction: “In regards to the NFT, you know it’s something that, this is our first time ever selling an NFT. So Giorgio, he’s always been very creative and cutting-edge in his whole career, and this is something that he wanted to do and kind of pushed for to sell with his car. So it’s part of his creative vision for it and he thinks that it will help the car appeal to a whole new base of collectors.”
