USA: Kentucky tornado survivors return to Cambridge Shores to pick up belongings amid rubble

Survivors of the unforgiving tornado that ripped through Cambridge Shores returned to their homes on Monday to assess the damage done and pick up what remained of their belongings amid rubble and debris.

Residents were seen working on scattered remains of their houses, sawing branches of wood to remove their vehicles and belongings from the tangled aftermath of the tornado.

With a curfew set in place, residents made use of the daylight hours in hopes of salvaging what remained of their belongings.

At least 80 people have been confirmed dead so far. On Sunday, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear stated that the death toll is expected to surpass 100.
