Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited the One World Observatory two weeks after the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks in New York City, together with the New York Governor Kathy Hochul and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio.

During the encounter with the press, de Blasio expressed his gratefulness for the couple’s visit to the city.

“They are wonderful guests, and that the work they are doing is so important for our whole country and our whole world,” said de Blasio.

Meghan Markle said it felt ‘wonderful’ to be back in New York City.

After the One World Observatory visit, the delegation visited Ground Zero, where once the World Trade Center stood. On September 25, Harry and Meghan will attend the Global Citizen Live event held at Central Park.
