USA: Students rally in support of climate activists on hunger strike in DC

Students rallied outside the White House in Washington DC on Friday in support of the five members of the Sunrise Movement currently on a hunger strike in attempt to push US President Joe Biden into passing a climate action plan.

The five activists were seen sitting in the wheelchairs on their third day of the strike as Biden was negotiating the infrastructure bill with the members of the Democratic Party.

Activists say they staged the protest as they exhausted other options to attract attention to the issue of climate change.
