United Launch Alliance (ULA) performed the Flight Readiness Firing (FRF) of the Vulcan rocket as a validation of the fully integrated launch vehicle at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida, on 8 June 2023, at 01:05 UTC (7 June, at 21:05 EDT). According to ULA, during the hot fire test the two BE-4 engines “will execute a nominal terminal count, then ignite and throttle, holding thrust before the engines begin throttle down to simulate in-flight throttling prior to booster engine cut off (BECO), then execute a flight-like shutdown”
