Which Cordless Reciprocating Saw (Sawzall) Brand is Best? Brands tested: 18V Milwaukee Brushless, 20V DeWalt Brushless, 18V Makita (both brushless DC motor and brushed), 18V Ryobi Brushless, 18V Heimerdinger (brushed), 18V Hart , and 18V Bauer. All saws tested using 4 amp hour battery, except the Bauer which was tested using a 3 amp hour battery. Saws tested for cutting speed through metal pipe, ½ by 3 inch mild steel, and a nail embedded 4x4. I always purchase all products and supplies.
