‘Is the Conservative Party BOOTING Boris Johnson?’

This week brings a whole lot of bother for British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson. Is his OWN party planning to give him the boot?

He’s set to face his largest rebellion on Tuesday evening, as around 75 Conservative MPs will threaten to vote against his latest Covid restrictions.

The party also faces losing ‘true-blue’ Conservative stronghold, North Shropshire. The by-election was called after the resignation of disgraced MP Owen Paterson, and polls suggest the Lib Dems as the favourite to win this once-Conservative heartland.
Meanwhile, in the wider population, support for Boris and his party is dwindling too, as recent polls put Labour well ahead.
The world is watching Boris Johnson as even his own party questions whether he is the right person to lead the UK.
