Tourists flocked to visit Winter Olympic-themed sculptures in Harbin’s annual Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival, as seen in footage filmed on on Wednesday.

Various structures were illuminated in fluorescent lighting throughout the exhibition, with design inspiration taken from the architecture of countries participating in the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic games.

“This is my second time here, because I didn’t have enough time for my first visit. I just want to see what it feels like in the Ice and Snow World,” said visitor Wang Jali.

The annual Harbin Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival began in 1999, and has grown to become the largest ice and snow festival in the world.

This year’s festival kicked off on December 25, 2021, and will run until February 28, 2022.
