Woman adopts hairless bunny nearly put down

Meet Mr. Bigglesworth, the hairless bunny who was almost put down because he looks different due to a hairless genetic disorder. His human mom, Cassandra, saw a local breeder’s ad about Mr. Bigglesworth’s siblings. Notably, it said ‘hairless not for sale,’ which sparked her curiosity. The breeder said she could have him for free as he “wasn’t saleable” and he had put down the last one. She drove to the breeder’s and found the little hairless rabbit living outside with his siblings. Cassandra took Mr. Bigglesworth home that day, who turned 3 in June of 2020. Most rabbits with this condition don’t tend to live past 4 weeks of age. Even though he is different, he brings so much happiness o his new family. And his human family wants the world to know that differences need to be embraced, not shunned.
