Woman adopts three-legged deer who wouldn't have survived in the wild (Story of Rudie)

This three-legged deer named Rudie had a rather rough introduction to this world. When he was just two days old, he was found with a badly severed leg and rushed to a veterinary hospital. That leg couldn’t be saved, and suddenly, living a life in the wild was no longer an option. Instead, he went to live with a veterinary technician and the many animals she’d previously rescued. At first, things didn’t go very well, but before long, Rudie was learning to walk, eating regularly, and eventually, running around with his new dog siblings.

He also developed some adorable quirks and habits. They include making strange noises when he eats, finding a deep love for bananas, and showing a fondness for grooming cats. Rudie has also become an important member of the community, paying visits to area nursing homes and hanging out with the residents.
