1 Million Bushels of Corn!!!!!

ADM's new storage facility in Dudley MO designed to hold a million bu of corn. Farmers bring the shelled corn in by the semi truck which is dumped from the belly into a hopper that transfers the corn to the top of the heap by conveyor belt. The storage unit is a new design over grain bins which saves costs by eliminating the high priced metal walls. A low perforated metal retaining wall is bolted to a concrete floor. Perforated black PVC pipes are placed across the floor to allow movement of the force blown air threw the corn pile for drying the corn to an appropriate moisture level.
