1. Houston was found unconscious in a suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 11, 2012.
She was submerged in the bathtub when she was found. Medics arrived and found the singer unresponsive and she was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.Houston’s cause of death was reported as drowning and the “effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use”.Cocaine was thought to have been used shortly before her death – and a number of other drugs were found in her system.The 48-year-old’s death was listed as an “accident”
2. Marilyn Monroe was found dead of a barbiturate overdose in the early morning hours of Sunday, August 5, 1962, at her 12305 Fifth Helena Drive home in Los Angeles, California. She was a major sex symbol and one of the most popular Hollywood stars during the 1950s and early 1960s. She was a top-billed actress for a decade, and her films had grossed $200 million by the time of her death in 1962.
3. On August 25, 2001, Aaliyah and eight others were killed in a plane crash in the Bahamas after filming the music video for the single "Rock the Boat". The pilot, Luis Morales III, was unlicensed at the time of the accident and toxicology tests revealed that he had traces of cocaine and alcohol in his system.

8. On 31 August 1997, Diana, Princess of Wales died as a result of injuries sustained in a car crash in the Pont de l'Alma road tunnel in Paris, France. Her companion, Dodi Fayed, and the driver of the Mercedes S280, Henri Paul, were pronounced dead at the scene. A fourth passenger in the car, bodyguard Trevor Rees-Jones, was seriously injured but survived.
