Basically, the fastest way to improve your pronunciation (and avoid mispronouncing words) is to shadow and imitate native English speakers. Listen to what you hear and repeat it... it's that simple :) Remember, it's important to focus on the sounds of English and the melody and rhythm that those sounds create. Do NOT pronounce words the way they are written because English is NOT a phonetic language. Unfortunately, most teachers teach pronunciation using the English or phonetic alphabet. This actually slows you down because it forces you to learn dozens of symbols, letters, letter combinations, rules, and exceptions to those rules before you even start improving! Imitating native speakers is simply the most natural way to improve your pronunciation and achieve fluency. It's also the fastest!
