1921 Lanz Tractor Reversing Engine Rotation

This is how the early Lanz tractors reversed themselves, they only had one gear. Moving the tractor into reverse involved throttling the engine back until it was striking backward on compression, the jamming open the throttle and hoping it went in the correct direction.
