Ok so lessons learnt here: - Don't powder coat light parts that have potentially been soldered together. It will destory them. - Don't thread in, even if it's just till it catches, a mismatching cup in the bottom bracket. Someone might try and tighten it and destroy the threads - Frame locks are an absolute pain to remove - Rod brakes require a little more attention than caliper brakes.
