We don't get a ton of incredible second generation Camaros coming through the shop, so when we saw this '73 we couldn't take our eyes off of it. With a big block 454 motor, a 5-speed manual transmission and an awesome paint job, this Camaro is irresistable! This Camaro has some eyeball! The body is laser straight and solid, without a wave or ripple in sight. The red/orange paint is beautiful, but of course paint is only part of the equation. It also features beautiful chrome, and that low mean stance. All of the margins are great, the doors open and close properly and the seals are awesome. All of the door and trunk lips and jambs are clean, solid and rust free. Out back the sanitary trunk has a fresh mat, spare tire and jack. If you want to sneak around unnoticed, don't buy this car. Pop open the hood and check out that big block 454. It has a Pro Race harmonic balancer up front, and a medium rise intake. The motor has an awesome paint job as well. Underneath the air cleaner is a Holley carb with mechanical secondaries. There is a new alternator, new aluminum radiator, a new wiper motor, and new hoses. The power brakes have a new master cylinder. 2" ceramic coated hooker headers live on either side of that giant motor. The wiring is well done as well. What a nice paint job on the underside of the hood and on the inner fenders. This is one beautifully done '73 Camaro! That 454 is backed by a durable TKO Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. Out back you will find a posi-traction rear end with 3:55 gears. The driveshaft is new, including the u-joints and yolk. The rear shocks are new, and it looks like the springs were recently rebuilt. There are new hard lines and flexlines for the Wilwood disc brakes. There is a rear sway bar as well. The 2.5" aluminum exhaust system sounds awesome and is in great shape, with Hooker mufflers and stainless steel tips. The floorboards are solid, with no rust or pitting. There is a tiny bit of scale on the back of the rocker on the driver's side. The frame rails are solid, and there is a custom cross member. Up front you will see that monster sway bar with new links, new shocks and great looking bushings. There are cross drilled and slotted rotors, and factory calipers for the front disc brakes. New pressure lines on the power steering and a new fuel pump are also present. This is one tight, awesome driving, car! Nitto tires (2-35-45 Z rated front and 2-55-45 Z rated rear) and Rev wheels are connecting this Camaro to the pavement. Open the doors and inside, you'll find an awesome black interior. The custom bucket seats, tight fitting headliner, wood grain door panels and gauge panel make this a darkly sinister place to do business. Sitting proudly in front of the driver is a LT Type steering wheel. The console and shifter are in great condition. The interior of this Camaro is like new!
