1974 Sony AVC-3250CE camera at Port Kembla Steelworks (9-4-2011)

This is a 24 minute video I made from my 1974 Sony AVC-3250CE B&W vidicon tube camera on a barren clearing area overlooking the Port Kembla Steelworks and the harbour. The steel works looks brilliant in vintage B&W on a vidicon camera as the steelworks has not really changed much in appearance over the past say 50 years so it makes this B&W video look like it could of easily been shot in the early 1970s, but the my 1994 VR Commodore however is a dead giveaway that this video was shot only yesterday lol. Anyhow from an artistic point of view, B&W and industrial age goes nicely! Also looking at the town in the distance it too looks very dated to the 60s so this video gives it that vintage look again!
