1983 Suzuki GS450A Suzukimatic idling and shifting gears.

1983 Suzuki GS450 A Suzukimatic Automatic Motorcycle. It is comparable to the Honda CB400A and CB450A Hondamatic except that this has a shaft drive instead of the chain driven honda's. The shaft drive is very smooth and requires very little maintenance. The Suzukimatic has two gears a low and a high. The low can be operated from start to 30 mph after that the high gear takes over. The high gear can also be used to start from a stand still but will take a second or two longer to go from 0 to 60. Shifting requires no clutch and it is an almost seem less transition from low to high and back to low again.
