1995 Mazda MX6 Valve noise...or is it?????

Turns out what everyone and their brother was calling "valve noise" or "HLA" was actually a faulty timing belt tensioner pulley. I had originally diagnosed this as a tensioner pulley, but being a drummer and not a professional mechanic, I deferred to them. Turns out I was right all along. The happy ending is that the shop agreed to replace the tensioner pulley a full 3 years post-installation. The owner remembered that I had complained about this noise mere months after they installed a new timing set. Another happy ending. P.S. Do you love the cheezie music or what???
