2011 Taupo 1000 - Part 3

For the final day of racing Brad Prout stayed committed to consistent driving but still opened up to speeds of 200kph plus on the longer straights. Rana, who was plagued with mechanical difficulties over the Saturday, was back firing though and hot on Prout's tail, by the end though his hard paced Sunday could not catch Prout but still earned him a deserved third over all. Prout went on to take line honours, completing the tough 1000kms in close to record time.
